Cleveland is divided in 3 Distrits; Downtown, where the State University is located and is around the mouth of the Cuyahoga River along Lake Erie; The East Side, that is the portion of the city to the east of the river, including the city’s world-class cultural and arts complex; and the West Side, in the west side of the ricer and has the airport and the West Side Market.

We walk a lot around the trendy areas of Tremont, Detroit and 25st in the west side area. A Christmas Story House is a 19th-century Victorian house in Tremont. When they make the 1983 movie they use it as the location and today is a museum.  It was purchased by a private developer in 2004 and has been restored and renovated to appear as it did both inside and outside in the film.

Every year they decorate the city with a new statue theme that gets painted! This year is the year of the horse! I also saw some rabbits and guitars from other years that are still standing.

They recently rebuild the Indians stadium (commonly Lakefront Stadium and Cleveland Stadium), and renamed it to First Energy Stadium (the Progressive Field). Their logo is  Chief Wahoo, but sometimes is more their “mascot”, so it has drawn criticism from some sportswriters, religious groups, and Native Americans.
